Yea!
I guess, as selfish or jealous of the attention they(5th gens) are getting for aftermarket companies. Im glad GM is selling cars. Its been killing my town, we need GM to survive. lol

UNDER PRESSURE MOD

As cool as it is to see so many 2010 camaro's modified, it annoys me, or makes me jealous that there was so little aftermarket support for the ls1 4th gens. How come there are more widebody camaro's at sema this year than all of the 4th gen camaro's put together, including the DH cars.
Oh well. I love my last of the breed Trans Am. May it rest in peace.

Too many people bought them all at once then everybody started modding them the next day. i'm sick of seeing and hearing about them. There's literally nothing you could do with one now that hasn't been done, other than go faster, and that can be said about any car. Don't get me wrong, i'd like to have one, but i'm not going to go out and buy one any time soon.
The only 5th gen i HAVEN'T seen, is the one i've been saying i want from day one: Black on black with black windows 1SS with the black 17" Rally wheels. Manual tranny, hammered stance, black windows. THAT's the 5th gen i want.

and with all these kickass Trans Am packages out there SURELY GM will step up in a couple years and build one. I could see that happening and totally eclipsing the Camaro's re-debut.

17s won't fit the new Camaro. Those Brembo brakes are 14 inches alone. The stock tire height is nearly 29 inches tall, the ones on your 4th gen are only 26 inches tall. So basically, if you put a 17" wheel into a 29" inch tire, you end up with sidewalls that are 6 inches tall. That is truck-like.

I know it's a little truck-like....but take the black car, with black steel wheels, blacked out windows, and throw some stickies on it and lower it until tucks about half the sidewall and has a slightly raked stance......
To each his own, though. I'm not diggin' the massive billet or chrome rims EVERYBODY is putting on them, ESPECIALLY the factory 21" black rims (i like your car though for some reason). Sorry to hijack btw, nice pics of the show
