The clear license cover was made by Randy Reed a while back. As far as I know he has discontinued them but have heard rumours of them being produced again shortly by someone.

ND4SPD,

Thanks for replying.
Randy had the site: http://www.bodyformdesigns.com/, right? The owner of www.firebatscave.com (sorry, forgot his name) told me that he got his from there, but http://www.bodyformdesigns.com/ has been down for some time now. I have noticed that a clear front plate cover a rare piece. Do you know if Randy will be making anymore? Do you/he know of anyone else making them?

You guys are sharp. I didn't think anyone would notice that little insignificant non-smoking plug. I picked it up a couple of years ago when I was in the US. It was at Champion Auto which I think might be called The Big Wheel now but not sure as I am in Canada.

The self-dimming mirror is from Donnely who is the factory supplier for the mirror that came with your car. It has the map lights just like the original and has a compass and self dimming feature as well. Very simple to hook-up (I was able to use the factory wiring that's already up there) and a great item. I don't know how I went with out it for so long.

The clear license cover was from bodyform designs as you say. He is currently not producing them but I heard someone was going to produce them again. Not sure if it was him or someone else but I will let you know if I here anymore.

Hope this helps!

Hey I was wondering where you got the carbon fiber accent for your trim. It looks damn good. I am thinking of ordering a carbon fiber lid, and that would go good with it.

Thanks for the nice compliments guys! Goodluck with your cars as well.

Hey, BAD00FORMULA, I got my carbon fiber kit through a local auto trim shop. They ordered it from www.sherwooddash.com. This is REAL carbon fiber under urethane although it is not a full surround kit that most seem to prefer. I guess I just like to be different, but IMO this kit was more appealing to me twofold. First and foremost the cost of this kit is not astronomical like the full surround cf kits. They can cost well over a $1000.00 where I paid under $250.00. Secondly, IMO some of the full cf surrounds start to look overdone with no contrasting plastic left over and are too easily scratched up because there is so much of it.

This came as an 11 piece kit, but again I didn't want to overdue it (I like to be conservative up front) so I only installed 8 of the 11 pieces.

It was this or I would have had the parts painted silver but I would never have paid the cost of a full cf kit.

I hope this helps you some and is only my opinion!
Good Luck and if you have any questions, feel free to email me with them or just post here!

ND4SPD, Brandon98TA,

Thanks. I found it: http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/ponfirclearl.html

If you dont mind my asking, how much did you pay for the cover? Afterthoughts Auto wants $50 + shipping. I was thinking that it would cost more like $40 shipped.
