Default Under hood ideas

Well i just bought a 99 T/A about a month ago. I finished the wire mod and moved my bettery to the back this weekend. I was thinking about moving both the fuse boxes up front to the rear next to my battery. Has anyone tryied this before? I am thinking of this method because I dont like the idea of jamming the boxes down into the nose of the car.

Or that's to much of a bitch to move them, which I think is, have a cool cover for them made out of carbon fiber or something

That would be insane... I couldnt imagine extending 50+ wires. and trying to run them 10ft to the back of the car, though, if you did that it would be really nice.

I have had the idea for a bit but wondered if anyone had tried it before. I think i will do it a box at a time. Then after the fuses are out of the way I was going to move the ABS components up into the fuse area. I just think it will clean up the engine tremedously. I completely removed all the wires from the passenger side, so why not the driver's too?

Instead of moving it to the trunk, go under the dash. But keep in mind, you're opening a can of worms if you get things mixed up.

If you don't want to do all that moving then do what I did. Move them next to each other on the core support.

Thats what i was thinking about doing, I have quite a bit of room under there, without blower motors...

I know of several people who put them under the dash and it looks awesome. I just cant imagine the amount of time that went into it though.

I think the wiring will be more time consuming than anything, but with moving the fuses to the back and also putting the ECU in the glove compartment i wont hav any wires exposed. With the exception of the spark plug wiring and some sensors on the block. I dont know though it doesnt look bad on the core support. I am planning on painting the bay satin black, and cleaning the engine up. So with all that why not loose all the wires.
