Default front end bras - use it or loose it?

I had a bra for my old T/A and it flapped and messed up the paint over time. Now have a C-5 and wondering if they have figured out how to make 'em better yet? This thing has killer paint so I do NOT want to mess it up, I'd rather have to spend more time cleaning after a road trip...

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, (DANG) Sorry for the CAPS thing!

I have a Colgan Front End Cover for my Camaro SS that I use exclusively for long trips. Does it cause damage, it may, but it is on for such short periods of time.

The other option is the X-Pel clear bra from 3M.

Great for road trips, but if you just leave it on, that pesky dirt will get between it and the car, causing little scratches

I too have a colgan bra for my car and only use it on road trips. It fits perfectly and doesnt flap. The underside is soft and so are the clamps.

I have a custome XPEL clear bra on order.. Here in SoCal if you go ANYWHERE you take the freeway and that means rock chips so I want to have the protection all the time.. Im even having a custome piece made for my wings west grill (after I get my SS emblem painted on it).. With Pewter it should be very hard to see the line (if at all).. best part is that in 5 years I could pull it off and have new paint again

http://www.xpel.com

Colgan bra would be my second choice..

Makes me cringe when I see a car WITH ITS BRA STILL ON going through a car wash.. People put the bra on to protect the car then use it in a way that does even MORE damage to the car than if they had done nothing! ok, rant over

I got my front end cover directly from Chevrolet. Fit is great, no flapping. Like the others say: use it wisely. My SS hood has terrible tiny paint chips all over it. The front end is showing some wear as well. I waited to long to get the front end cover. Anyone else have paint problems with their SS hoods?
