'Trust's New Car: Got myself a virgin!
#101
Very nice. I've been really wanting to purchase one of those myself. I just don't want to get rid of the Camaro since I've had it since new and don't wanna lose all that money on it. Granted its mint and has 29k miles... most people are looking at the cheapest F-body they can get. So I may just keep it and buy a Viper out-right one day.

Roe is twin screw, Paxton is centrifugal. I like how clean the install on the Roe is, and the intake tract on the Paxton seems pretty restrictive. At 10psi on the Roe I'm looking at about 730RWHP, which is plenty. I don't want to go over the top with this car like the T/A did and make it less fun to drive. It'll retain a 150 shot on top of that for 'insurance'.

Well it looks a lot better with the CCW's. The car didn't do bad on the rollers either. 410 RWHP 465 RWTQ bone stock, filters and all, no tricks. I think the 450HP 490TQ rating is pretty accurate. Here are some pics with the CCW's, it gets tint in the morning, and the springs for the car came in today, they should be on next week:
Agreed, that will probably be the route I go. Do you mind shooting me a PM with your method for cleaning the CCW's, these need it bad!

Hell yes man. Thing looks great! With the drop and tint it'll look ****! The 17s don't look too bad either, obviously a nice set of 18s would look sweet, but I like the setup.

I hear ya on the 17's. I could not pass them up though. 17x10 and 17x13 CCW Classics, 85% left on the tires, $1373 shipped to my door used. Heck of a deal, and I HATE the stockers.
Man, I have no idea. I don't plan on cracking open the heads or the front cover. Blower and done!

Next year it will most likely get SP600's for the wheels, different tips, clear corners, and HID's, other than that, not really. I really like how it looks, I've always been a fan of less is more. Had the Mecham hood on the T/A not been functional for me (under hood temps were high, ended up with a big fan setup after the hood), I'd have kept the WS.6 hood.

yeah no prob. but lol thats funny, CCW Classics on your viper. dont get me wrong they look good, its just that the two vipers here have the same wheels and they're both red too. the blue and black one are the best colors imo

Thanks! Any pics of those 2 cars? The classics were not my first pick, I just can't justify the money spending $3k on wheels (I got these for less than half of that shipped with tires), then another $1k on tires, and the car still being slow. That $3k will pay for my whole dedicated, plate kit, and tuning/install. Gotta have priorities right?!

man, I thought Fbodies were one of the only ones with a 4x4 problem, make sure you post some pics when that thing gets a drop.
18s will really make it pop too, but I understand that is a sick deal on the classics....
nice ride.

Man, those wheels do make a night/ day difference! I like the wheels, and will like the SP600's even better once ya upgrade, but I see exactly where you are commin from as far as keeping the looks/ performance ratio in check with the spending factor.
