whelp went back on the hight way with a friend to check and see if we could find it... we did and it has NO damage!!! one one inch scratch on the plastic that's it! Must have flown off and made its way to the grass by the shoulder. It happened right where i thought and said it would. Where i gunned it in third and made a sharp cut. My buddy lost his passenger side t-top while on the highway with his windows down. He dropped it in 3rd (m6) at 90 and stabbed the throttle. He was trying to get a Porsche to race him. Anyway, it flew off the car. He thought he didn't have it locked down right. From what I've seen so far on the boards, I'm not so sure it was his fault.

got home yesterday after 6 weeks, took the car out today for the first time ABSOLUTELY didnt touch the t tops...got back to my friends house and passenger side top is gone! Ive read about this before but not completely. Am i mistaken that this has happened to some of you before. Im guessing it was the going 85 with the windows down on the highway that did it. How much are they at the dealer!! this sucks!!

Try a junk yard its got to be ALOT cheaper for a used one. Also check GM direct parts.
