Nice work, but why did you remove the plastic shelf. I and many others have fit double-din headunits without removing the shelf.

Ive seen it done like that also. My cars shelf was brittle and fell apart when I was doing initial fitment so I went with a somewhat central location in the opening. I did trim the top some to get it a little higher up though.

so we cant contact another member now?
rightfully he SHOULD have said he wouldnt do it to comply by "the rules", but he didnt.

I feel i have to say that the prodects that i see most of from you are cheap looking abs plastic junk. with the occasionally thrown in decent looking peice, but those you want an arm and a leg for!

Back to the OP, that looks awesome for a home made, hand crafted peice. Props.

First of all, learn to spell or at least pay attention to the squiggly red lines that are there for people like you...

Second of all, I don't know why you are getting all pissy and throwing your $.02 into the ring over me defending my right to mention the products I PAY to advertise on here but it is a waste of your uneducated typing because a "product dis" coming from a guy who counts a "descreened MAF" as a SIG worthy mod isn't someone who's opinion I'd hold too highly

A good old virtual SHUT THE **** UP! I love those. I wish I could be a little less patient with people wanting to buy things from me sometimes, but then they get upset when I toss a little sand and it gets caught in their vags.

If a customer can't appreciate that 99.9% of my items are one-off hand made (literally no different than going to a local craftsman to get a part made for your car, same amount of time and labor involved) in the USA items that NO ONE ELSE gave a crap enough about our cars to get made and ARE NOT some crap a company has 1000 at a time made in China mass produced items.

These are FOR A NICHE MARKET WHERE THERE IS NOT REALLY ANY MONEY TO BE MADE (I am a full time actor and do this on the side to generate money simply to generate new products and run in the red most of the year) so if they want a smile after talking bad about a company or product it isn't happening here, they can go get greeted at Wal-Mart

meh, typed the whole thing as fast as i could, fucked up a few times. whatever. I'm at work, and on the site inbetween orders.
but before you hound someone about their typing skills maybe you should look into the use of commas....

i chose to throw my $.02 in because you jumped in someones thread to promote your product. the CLASSY thing to do would have been to simply complement the guy on HIS work and let your sig do the talking. But judging by the past threads ive seen you make about your products, class is something that you definatly LACK, i mean running boards for f-bodies? really?!? having an f-body already has the stigma as being a redneck mullet mobile, and then you decide to produce RUNNING BOARDS?!

I cant remeber ever seeing something that you have posted about making that actually looked like it was a quality part. granted i havent seen everything you make tho.as far as sig worthy mods go, i just listed EVERYTHING that has been done to it. hell i even listed the fact it has some dirt hole 2.73's.

and i was talking about the fact that you said you could have posted in the sponsers section about the fact that people are contacting the OP for work. so what if they do, they obviously either dont like the junk you make or dont know about you. which i find it hard to belive that people DONT know about you on this site, the posts you make have 15 BILLION photos of the same car from angles that differ by MAYBE an inch...

I have to admit, that honestly made me HOWEVER, welcome to the internet. The most commonly typed phrase on here is "Got more pics?"... so I just get them all out there the first time.

You don't like some of the products I sell, big whoop, I don't like all of them either (especially a certain spoiler) but I'm not here to make everyone's car look how I want it to look I am here to help people get parts made for their cars that THEY WANT that no one else is helping them get made.

Side splitters SPECIFICALLY were NOT my idea. I had TONS of PMs begging for them so I made them. They get a lot of **** on this board but really look pretty good in person and I sell a ton of them every time someone posts pics regardless of the negative attitude a lot of members on this board (yourself obviously included) have towards things that don't concern them at all.

I honestly just can't stand "internet racers" and "internet business advisers"... If you know how it should be done so well then get off the computer and go do it. I personally juggle about three jobs and still do my best to stay up late at night and bring people quality products that they WANT for their car. Try contributing something GOOD into the community once in awhile instead of just running off at the mouth on the internet...

End Rant/

But come on, one guy pays to sell parts on here and the other doesn't. Who's getting screwed. Sure, he may charge less to do it in his back yard, but the other one is making things for more people on the whole.

And while not all of the parts are for everybody, 6LE definately makes something for everybody, no matter how small. I'm sure if you browsed around his "shop" for a bit, you might find it hard pressed to not find 1 thing you might want or "need".

He doesn't have to make everything everybody wants, all he's gotta do is make that one thing you want....the down side is that he's gotta pay a lot of money a month to offer you that piece.....whenever you need it.

And hopefully we'll be trying the new double din idea i came up with last week pretty soon too.

Man, I'm going to have to start paying you real money one of these days, lol.

Anyways, let's get this derailed monster back on topic. I already sent a PM to the OP for all the BS that turned up in here...
