WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOU GO BACK TO THE STOCK GRILL? that is the absolute worst grill that you can have on the car. it looks much better without it, and if you dont want to buy a new grill at this time, maybe just get some chrome inserts for the camaro letters, from www.emblempros.com

thats not a fair comparison, your's looks perfect with the car the way you got it all painted- i'd put that in the same category as the slp.
speedinc, LMPerformace, and WS6store were all selling it for the same price-$213.xx, but WS6store cut their price by $5, so they now have the best deal of $208 (shipped). check them out

Well, i was over on LS1.com a minute ago and found another possibility- something i haven't seen posted here on tech as an "appearance" mod. As Ls1CamaroGuy87's camaro shows, the stock grill can look great, with a little painting. but i never thought about taking it off and painting it and putting it back on: http://ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=113667
i think this can look just as good as any SLP grill if done right- painted a nice glossy black. -and like the SLP, will look great on most colored cars.
honestly, if i did not already have the SLP grill and was not planning to paint the car any time soon (in that case i'd do the same as Ls1CamaroGuy87), i would do this painted gloss black. So, to answer your question, YES, i would pit the stocker back in- especially since you can get it for $20, and paint supplies and all will run you probably $10-15.
