Default Aftermarket tail lights

ive already been thru two pairs of GTS covers (with velcro) and i hate the stock look, especially with the berger panel look. ive been searching for another option but have only found two.

and....

thoughts, opinons. i must say im still not convinced on either one, but i prefer either one than the stock ones.

I'd go full nightshade or LT1 style.

The first are ricey IMO.

Go with the lights. Make the rear look good for good instead of adding another bandaid.

i was thinking of doing that vhf or vht whatever on them, but they are pretty banged up, dont know why thats how i got the car. both have about a bb size hole on them and oddly enough have the same indintation on the far outer part. dont know if its caused by heat or what. but anyway, i cant do much to the stockers.

i also kind of thought the lights were kind of ricey, but these have a smoke to them and there are the other style with plain clear glass/lens and these look much better. as far as the lt1's, i just dont like the red and berger with black lights look good.

Those first ones are absolutely horrible. The second idea looks good. Tinted always looks good.

Keep it simple.

i would paint stockers, but like i said, mine are too damaged. im not gonna buy a used set and have them redone its just not worth it.

as far as the tint goes, i could do that, but im not sure how much it would darken them. i want them black and if they are gonna look like the ones on the auction, them im not convinced.

Since i have a black car i went with the tyc black housing tail lights. They're kinda hard to find since they dont make them anymore but they're much better looking then the ebay ones and better quality.

Why are the taillights "ricey" but not ram air hoods or clear corners or projector headlights? I'm sick of that word. You obviously like the taillights you linked to or you wouldn't have posted them. And from the sounds of it, you need new ones anyway so I don't think the tint would work well. Go with what you think looks good and don't worry about others' comments.

BTW Z28bryan02, I think your tails look good. Not that you're supposed to care.
