A lot of the big name-brand manufacturers do this to attain the special finishes on items such as the material on the fenders/bodys/dash on vehicles.
For example, I believe Kawasaki uses the process on the ATV's such as the camo, etc.
hydro-dip.com is one of the major manufacturers.

Cool process, ..., lot of options, ...

We will be doing wheels, motorcyle fairings, ATV's, etc... anything can be done, and we have bought a tank plenty large enough to do it with. There will be gas tank lids, door sills, sail panels, and other things we will be doing.
Plenty of ideas, We will begin making parts next week. We will be making Parts for posting, and for our cars.
This stuff is simply amazing!!
Our plan is to have members send us whatever they want coated, and they get it back in the mail. No core charge, no buying new parts. The finishes are very dramatic. We all have to go out of state for training, that may be fun!

Thanks, Roger

The equipment and supplies are expensive, and it will take time to do the work.
Our prices will be fair. We believe we get more work with fair pricing,

Thanks, Roger

We need to play around a little and place some time estimates on jobs.
All I can tell you is we will be fair with our prices, and a HVAC **** will far less expensive than a door sill. We expect to be posting prices for some items starting after Christmas, and into the new year.

Very, very cool. This will be a hit here on the boards. This is pretty awesome stuff. In what little time it took me to read through the responses I was able to think up a dozen different pieces that I'd want to get done!

We'd be glad to do it for you. Hopefully we will be up and running within 2 weeks. Love the new car, Rez.

cool......I would be interested in a (KIT ) price for plastic pieces next to door handles ? M6 removable consul piece and the piece that goes around your gauges. Can you incorperate Firehawk lettering into this?

ohh and an air lid too.

I am interested.. But interested in pricing..

Could you toss out a around a bout ball park number $ for something like a lid.

Also, will it cost more for a more detailed piece with special wording and what not in it? It is just as easy as a very simple design, no?

I won't be ordering anything till I get some pics and ideas!

I have spoken with Mr. Hamburger at SLP several times and have never been able to get him to license out his trademarks. The parts themselves you ask about, are not a problem though.

Honestly, I can't toss out any numbers yet because I just don't know. There are several factors that will be included in pricing. For instance, equipment, power, materials, and time to name a few.

I can tell you that no matter the price, some will think it will be expensive and others will think it is a bargain. I do know what the competition charges and if I didn't think I could beat their prices, I wouldn't have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on equipment and storage. Our prices will be better than our competitors' and that's what matters at the end of the day. We can't cut our competitors' price in half, but we can do better.
