Trust me Brian, I'm extremely happy with it. Look at the pics of my car again and you'll see that my fenders don't match my front bumper in the right lighting conditions. In those same pics, the hood matches my front bumper well.
If you do a search for petwer paint, you'll find threads where guys complain about it not matching, even from the factory.
But in your defense, at 180mph, everything blends nicely.

I'd be willing to bet that hood matches very well in the sun. I have the same problem, my WS6 hood doesn't match under cloudy skies, when the sun is out it matches perfect. I'm not going to worry about it for a while.

looks great, my friend used to have one on his black 00 t/a . it really gives equilibrium and balances out the height of the spoiler with the hood. He told me that it's kind of a love it or ehhh kind of deal. some people will love it, and some people get tired of it and the size of it and go w/ something smaller.

I actually haven't even driven the car, other than off the lift, and then back on, so I have no idea what it's like yet. It's not like it's the 4" vfn version that obstructs your view. Honestly, unless you parked a factory ws6 next to it, it doesn't look any different or unusual, at least to me.
