Well, first off, Brian is a cool guy, and the hood looks great. He's way too harsh on himself as I think the hood looks great.

Here's how it sits tonight, just waiting to be installed:

That pic came out cool... all the light is coming from the garage door opener light from over top of the t/a on the lift, looked cool.

Here's some better lighting pics:

It looks really tall when you bend down and look at it at this angle, pretty badass.

I'm pleasantly surprised at how well the pewter matches the rest of the car. Ganted, the bumper and fenders are different than my factory hood to begin with due to different materials, but oh well, this is still going to look good.

I just need to get a hand tomorrow with removing the factory hood since it is quite a bit heavier than fiberglass considering it's metal.

Thanks again Brian (aka Fireball).

That's really going to look great! I've always considered that hood for my car.

Just out of curiosity though, why did you go with the pin-on?

It wasn't my idea to go pin-on. It's actually a bolt on hood, but if you know anything about Fireball, he's running high 7s at close to 180mph. He added the pins to make sure the hood didn't come up at those high speeds since air gets in between the hood and headlight covers.

I think it looks good. At first I wasn't crazy about them, but they are growing on me. Hell, the mustang cobra supersnakes come with them from the factory, so it's not a race-car only thing.

that hood looks good. and matches nicely. i dont mind the pin-on, they add a bit of an aggressive style.

btw, ur garage is amazing.

Looks good, I like the pin on look. What kind of rack is that in your garage?

Nice upgrade. If my car wouldn't have had the ws6 hood added before I bought it I would have definitely gone that route. By the way where did you get the lift for the garage and do you like it?

The lift is a ProPark 8s from www.gregsmithequipment.com

I got the hood someone fitted, but with only one bolt per side right now. Brian gave me 4 bolts, but one was different, so I need to stop at a hardware store tomorrow and pick up some more bolts to complete the bolt up. I'm sure it's going to need some adjustments, so I'm not worried about fitment right now.

hood should look great, I was just looking at a pic of your car the other day thinking how great it would look with a diffrent hood, not that it didnt look good the way it was.

Well, here are some initial pics of the hood on the car. Again, it only has one bolt per hinge just snug, so the fitment isn't perfect.
