Need help selecting rim and tire size.. I dont know what size rim is better, 17's or 18's. My Z is Lowered 1.75 inches, but cant decide on rim size. I do know I want the same size rims and tires all around. Please give me any suggestions.
Re: Need help selecting rim and tire size.. It is a matter of personal preference. I went with 18" wheels on my SS since I already had 17" wheels and felt if I am going to get new wheels why not bigger.
18" wheel you will sacrific some straight line accelleration, but gain in the twisties.
A nice simple combo that looks good is 17" x 9.5" with 275/40ZR17 tires. Look for an offset around but not greater that 50 mm (ideally).
