looks good. i love the look of the LT1 WS6 hood/airbox. It's been almost 2 years since i found my hood and about 20 months since i had the hood and airbox installed (march 2008)
The LT1 with ram air (i also don't call mine a WS6 since they didn't even make one in 95) is one of the best looking 4th gens imo. I was going to buy a real 96-97 car back in 2004 but i got such a deal on mine i couldn't pass it up ($6k w/ 84k one owner miles and all the 96-97 ws6's had 90k+ and were $10k-$12k)
I'm glad i didn't have to change my hatch though. that would have sucked. it was hard enough to change the little trim piece that goes around the glass.

I'm suprised because we basically had to do 75% of the work of replacing the hatch to change the trim piece and it was a PITA. we had to take down the headliner, then unbolt the hatch, then move it back a little bit to be able to slide the trim around the top of the window. our big mistake was probably that we didn't unclip the struts from the hatch so we had some issues putting the hatch back in place to bolt back in.

if i remember correctly the LT1 WS6 just got the bigger 1LE swaybar up front along with different springs. I have the swaybar sitting in my garage waiting for install, as far as the springs im going to leave my stock ones on and finish putting in my bilsteins.

maybe of it was polished alum, stainless, or carbon fiber id pay that much,,, but for just plastic,,,, i wouldnt pay more then $75 for a abs splitter,, I know waterjets are pricey but geeesss,,, i garranttee if he sold them for less then 100 he'd sell 4 more to make up for the sales he wasnt getting in the 1st place and he'd make more $ in the end.
