Default Pics of my new WS.7 Trans Am (very rare!) >

I finally found the rarest of rare 98 Trans-Am. Since they made so few of these cars, I just had to purchase it. I more than likely paid WAY to much for it, but I am so proud to be driving this very rare car. The guy I bought it from told me there were only 2 other WS.7s built .... WOW!

Anyway, here are a few pics of this very special car:

Very Happy with my new purchase!

There is no such thing as a ws7 the guy probaly just put the badges on and did stuff to the engine those are just corvette fuel rail covers and a strut tower brace.

Say it ain't so!

The car has a real [metal] WS.7 badge on it! So, it has to be real!

In the early 80's the Trans am had two performance packages, with RPO codes of WS6 and WS7. The WS7 denoted the code for performance package with everything WS6 had except rear disc brakes. Those were the only cars that had a factory designation WS7. In the late 90's some owners decided to add aftermarket enhancements to the Ram Air and it was dubbed the WS7 for reasons that escape me. As I can remember there was an aftermarket hood and air box. But all the mod did was take the cold air that was being drawn from under the car and make it so more cold air was being drawn through the hood scoops. Nothing more as far as I know.

Well, be honest with you, I really didn't pay anything for it. But, if I had, I would bet it would have been ALOT!

My grandmother at the age of 92 years bought the WS.7 new and drove it until [they] refused to renew her operators permit. She was so withdrawn and hurt, she just gave up on life and gave her "baby" to me. God rest her soul ...

She did have a set of TEA 5.3L ported heads put on it as a little gift to herself on her 94th birthday ... God love her

Oh ya ... How many miles on it? 41,000 (mostly to and from church).
She went to church alot.

Ron,

A Harley 'Fatboy'

She had to sell it after a couple of months of ownership. Seems she had trouble getting on it. The 'walker' she was using kept getting in the way.

Kinda sad, if you think about it...
