35% Tint - Is It Worth It?

I have 20% on my black trans am and im not taking it off no matter how much i get hasseled for it 
if i was in your situation i would think differently of course but my point is i would totally do it cuz its better than nothing and with tinted t-tops nd a dark hatch window im sure it'll look darker than 35%. i know the cops r baffeled that they only read 20% on my windows lol... but i have 2.5% on my hatch nd 10% on my t-tops plus a 10% As1 banner on the windshield

I know you said you won't go darker but when you get pulled over just flash the military ID and have a nice day. Many cops respect a man in the military. Here is my picture of 20% all around. Wish I could go darker...
I had 20% on my last car. It's illegal to have anything on the front windows in NJ, which I knew of course. It looked awesome but once I got pulled over once it was over, I ended up getting hassled a lot for it. I never took it off though.
With my SS I asked for 20% again but they put on 35%. Honestly, I like it better. It's a pretty light tint but it's not too obvious like the 20 and I can see at night much better. I'm glad they screwed up haha. So I would say it's worth it. I also don't drive my car very much, so if yours is a daily or you drive it often I would suggest a lighter tint.
I don't think I have any pictures of it with the tint though.

Really... Friend of mine got pulled over two time by the say cop here in the area and one was a 90 in a 55. He gave him his ID and was good to go with a warning. He said he would have to give him a ticket if he pulled him over a third time. Which happened and he got a ticket.
In my case the trooper was kind of a dick. He was asking me all these questions about my car; Where did I get it? When did I get it? Did I know the tint was illegal? How long have I had the car? He also gave me some **** because at the time I had a Georgia drivers license. I'll give the Trooper credit though, his traffic stop was very well executed lol.
What bugs me is that I had the 5% tint on there for 6 months driving through 5 states and no problems. My car looks horrible with no tint.

I put a Sport Compact Car license plate frame on my sister's 350Z years ago. She got pulled over for speeding and instead of a speeding ticket he just warned her about the license plate frame. Which she didn't know I put on and still yelled at me for haha.
