C6 auto shift knob on firebird a4?

C6 auto shift **** on firebird a4? I want to install a auto corvette shift **** on my Firebird a4 instead of the bulky t-handle. I am looking to buy an C6 **** for a good deal. Can it be done? Is it the same process as installing a Camaro ****? Here is a picture of the shaft and **** for an auto C6 http://media.photobucket.com/image/0...z/IMG_0267.jpg
Buy it, if it doesn't work, ..., re-sell it, ...

Might work with some fabrication. The A6 shift **** doesn't have the front C clip like the Camaro/Trans Am/Grand Prix/Corvette and some other's I can't think of at the moment. Maybe the Monte Carlo/Impala and Grand Am. Anyway, here's instructions on how to remove the A6 shift **** from Red Line Goods.

The 05 C6 **** looks like it'd probably work since it is held on by a clip and doesn't appear to be any different than the 4th gen Camaro/C4/C5 shift ****. I might make an attempt at it depending on how much I can get a 05 C6 **** for.
