Undercoating ?

Undercoating ? I need some shop to spray the underside of my car with some anti-rust-corrosion underspray ... Whats the stuff called and whats it usually cost .. Will it get all over my engine/transmission area?

Re: Undercoating ? go to ur local chevy dealer and ask them about it, this stuff is also referred to as "armor," mine was a $1,000 option....and I HATE it! they sprayed underneath the whole car and in the engine bay and everything! I only suggest u do it if u drive in rough conditions, now I have to pay big $$$ to get it off, cuz I want to do car shows......but other than that, good luck with that b.s undercoating! <img border="0" alt="[bullshit]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bs.gif" />

A total waste of time and money. My Dads Tahoe was under coated, and it all flaked off!!!
The metal prep on the newer cars negates the need for undercoat. Don't do it you'll regret it!
