I too would like to know the type of projectors you used?
Hella's new 60mm module line.

I'm actually setup for production. I'm a vendor on the corvette forum and they're quite popular so far.

If i had a TA to work with, and enough demand i could do it. Right now it would be less expensive to do a one-off fiberglass shroud based on the BPP kit using hella's 50mm projectors....rather expensive design at an estimated cost of $1800 and a few days labor, but they would be really good stuff.

I was following your thread of corvetteforum for a while but after A while it just got to be too many pages to read. What was the final pricing for these and how hard is install?

Installation is VERY easy. The frame is secured with 4 existing oem bolts and the lens/shroud asseembly is secured with a fender screw and a supplied u-nut and bolt. There's a GP thread over there with pricing info.

Like I said very very nice. I wish these 60mm projectors would have been out when I did my projector retrofit on my trans am, I used the Hella 90mm projectors which A) Cost an Arm and a Leg and B) were an extreme pain in the **** to mount and fit, but I kept it a pop up...

good luck on sales and great work again.

I've been following this thread as well on HIDPlanet. Beautiful work and I think everything came out great. A buddy of mine has the pop-up version of your last lighting system for the C5's and loves it.

As for the LS1 firebird guys looking for something like this....I will have something ready to offer very very shortly.

I'm very familier with the 90mm version. I used those on my also popular pop up version:

The only thing that really bugs me about them is the focusing lens. It's a tiny little frensel lens that doesn't havee much width or sharp pattern. This is a comparison shot. On the left is is a 90mm H9 proejctor with a custom cutoff shield and adjusting bulb spacing. On the left is a stock projector. Both are using 6000K HID Pnp kits.

Well that's good to read. This thread inspired me to attempt to fab some fixed headlights, but if you have something in the works, I'll hold off and see what you have. I really didn't want to fab some myself anyway, but these intermittently working T/A pop-ups are pissing me off to no end. PM me, or get a thread up, I would love more details on this.

Radio, you have inspired me. Whether I fab them myself, or get them from someone who fabs up a set on the level you have, I will rid myself of these annoying pop-ups.

radioflyer...very nice setup on with the 90mm. I used the H7 90mm ECE version and used H7 to D2S conversion plates with Hella GenIII ballasts/bulbs and a custom wiring harness as to not disturbed the stock wiring. I modified the cutoff shield to be completely flat as to not have a ECE step. I need to take pics but the cars been in pieces since march lol. It's almost done. I did a lot of reading on the H9 modules and didn't like the hotspots, don't have that as much with the H7 modules, I got an awesome deal on the H7s or else I woulda used H9s. I may have to upgrade to the 60mm tho lol.
