Default What do you dry your car with?

I have been using the "Absorber" and taking off polish w/ 100% cotton towels (non-imported).

Is this okay, or should I be using something else?

I have also hearing alot about the California Water Blade. I may check into that, then finish up with the absorber.
What do you think?

I've never used one but they do work pretty nicely. That's what a buddy of mine uses when he washes his daily drivers in the winter. Less water to dry off = less freezing hand syndrome.

I have the water blade and I used to use it on the paint until I gave it a little thought. Any dirt particle is going to scratch the paint as you slide the blade across it. I'd rather use cotton towels. It only takes about 15 mins with them anyway. The water blade has been reduced to a window squeegy.

The water blade works for the most part. But you have to go behind it. I just went back to the absorber. But feel free to try the water blade out. I would suggest saving your $$. But to each his own....

i use both the absorber and the water blade, if i am in a hurry i will use the blade for the big areas then the absorber for the areas the blade cant go, but if i got time i use the absorber on the whole car, and i always do the good ol "once around the block" haha

i just use my 150 mph leaf blower and 1 100% cotton towel to clean up any left over water. works great and shortened by washing time by half (at least it did in my case).

first the ca. water blade-it works great! just make sure to keep running your finger across the blade to take off any dirt that might scratch-followed by the absorber-then the last touch ups with the towels.rest of the week until the next wash i use the ca. duster daily followed by maguires quick detailer which gets off finger prints, bugs, everything! believe i was going crazy with my first black car until i came up with this system. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
