Leather Conditioner???

Leather Conditioner??? Just wondering if any of you use leather conditioner for your seats, saw a commercial for some Meguiars leather conditioner wipes and was wondering what your experience was with this or any other similar product. On a side not, i think our leather almost feels like damn vinyl or pleather rather than the real stuff.
Thats because it is. Im pretty sure -correct me if im wrong- that starting in 98 the only REAL leather on our seats is the vented area. The rest is synthetic. I prefer Turtle Wax conditioner on my seats. The Meguire wipes arent bad though. To each his own.

If you read the factory literature, it says "leather seating surfaces".
That means anything YOU touch, being the seat back and the seating surface itself.
But that doesn't matter when it comes to maintaining it.
I use my Zaino Leather Cleaner and Conditioner on the fronts, backs, sides, headrests, door panels, back seats...all over.
I'd be careful with products that contain a lot of Glycol. Not good. The Zaino products maintain the integrity of the leather very well.
In between coats of Zaino, I used the Armor All Leather Wipes. Those things are amazing and leave a very lustrous shine.
That means anything YOU touch, being the seat back and the seating surface itself.
But that doesn't matter when it comes to maintaining it.

do the armor all wipes leave a greasy film on the seats like they do on the dash with those damn dash wipes??? i HATE that nasty stuff, lint and grime is drawn to it like none other.

Nope. The Armor All Leather Wipes are by name brand, not product.
God forbid they should be greasy!
This "wipes" technology has revolutionized the industry.
Think "No More Nasty Towels in the Laundry" or any "Lint" for that matter.
I have them for everything from glass cleaner to Blue Magic Metal Polish to even Simple Green, believe it or not!

Leather seats in all GM cars are coated, dunno with what. Basically they figure that most people's cars are stained by coffee and all types of other crap, this way the seats are protected. It's a urethane like coating. So leatehr conditioner, really doesn't do ****. But it does make it shine real perty, and help keep them clean. But it doesn't get down deep enough to actually condition anything.
