Hey man....its your car ...if you like it.......do it. Silver or light grey would look good with blue.

Oh.....3rd gens look so good they didn't need stripes. lol

the black one that west texas blue posted is the phoenix i realy liked. i just hope it looks just as good up front as it does as in the picture. a couple yearsback i went to the new york auto show and i was suprised with how much better and worse some cars looked in person

I tried a quick Photoshop of a Ghosted Custom Pheonix.

I was trying to fit the body of the bird on the flat portion of the LT1 nose with the beek and fire below the ram air screen opening and the wings stretching up the hood, around the ram air hump and becoming segmented into licks of flame that curve down slightly behind the front wheel. It didn't look bad, but it came out a little busy looking and I scrapped it. I'll have to put a little more effort into it.

i think a matte type of decal would look good. Like black matte on a black car, something like that wouldn't be busy at all

I have to agree with what was posted earlier, the only way to do it on a 4th gen and have it look good would be a subtle ghost flame bird something that didnt stick out too much. The black TA with gold bird does look pretty good though.

Yearone had a Black TA WS6 in HPP showing their billet snowflake wheels. That car had a phoenix on the hood & I thought it looked awesome. I'm sure the wheels helped a bit, but the bird on the hood look really good.

i think fad2blk had a good hood bird... its the one that starts as a bird and then turns into stripes. silverorwhite on a black t/a (nonWS6) looked good.
