Default phoenix on hood
hey i hav a 99 blue ta with a tan int. and i want to put a phoenix on it im thinkin a gold will look the best... any suggestions?

There is just something about the shape of our hoods that makes it look out of place.

Never seen it look right on ram-air hood or flat hood.....would def like to see some of the 3rdgendecal stripes on it gold though....

Pheonix was for the second gens, racing stripes are for 1st gens, and ram air stripes are for the 4th gen. Not sure what looks good on 3rd gens.

Ive googled up a couple of nice images of it done in differnt colors on the 3rd n 4th gens, but ive recently talked to a couple body guys about it... now im probably just guna throw a ws6 hood on

or one like mine slp h/o i know its kind of the "WS6 hood theme" but it will still seperate you from the pack...but back to your question i would never do it. there is a v6 running around with it and looks like *** ill try to grab a pic

The only way I'd do it is if it were like a custom ghost flame pheonix, something that you would see at a car show, but going down the road wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb.
