My new interior Well some quick background info, I own a pewter Z28 with ebony seats. Decided to make my dash look better by painting it, but tring not to over do it. So I decided to paint the dash the same color as the car.
I posted awile back about me doing this, just never had time to post pictures. I just took some tonight for you guys to see, so tell me what you think! I did this about one month ago and have gotten alot of compliments from friends ect... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: My new interior It doesn't totally look like it in the pictures, but it is a exact match to the exterior of the car (lt pewter). And sorry, my inside is a bit dirty (need to clean it later this week).

Oh yea, andy I got a pair of the grand sport racing stripes in black from mark, they look awesome. I hope to post pix of that and my high gloss berger bumper later in the week.

Re: My new interior I think it looks good. I almost think it would be better if the passenger heater vent wasn't painted. These things pop on and off so easy, I might try and buy a set from the junkyard and try it myself. It does make the steering wheel stand out in the pictures..boy does gm make some ugly wheels. My 98 is only slightly better IMO.

excellent job! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> ... I was always looking into doing that just never saw pictures of it done as good before... the combo looks perfect!
if I were you id get an SLP emblem and put it under the passenger airbag.. i think thats a must with your interior... it would make it look even better!

heres my idea: painting the pieces like that, getting dual-tone leather (gray nad black) and silver face guages... i have a black z28 with chrome as an accent color... what do you think? too much or too nice? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: My new interior I have a Navy blue metallic Trans Am with Beige/tan interior... I was thinking about doing the air vents silver (just like the post originator) and surround them with navy-blue METALLIC (the exact color of the car).. is that going to look too much? my dashboard is black and seats are beige.. hmmm,,, anyone have any ideas?
