Default Keep ws6 hood or Mecham hood?

Should I keep my ws6 hood or get a Mecham hood? This is pretty much how my WS6 is going to be looking. I'm thinking the Mecham hood may look "cleaner" in away.

Mecham hood-

Stock is hard to beat. The only other hood I would take over it was the California TA suncoast hood. It was on the cover of a HPP years ago.

The term rice should be banned on this site. Seems like people use it when something isn't exactly like everybody likes.

O.P. I would go with the Mecham hood. Much more agressive and more unique.

i agree 100%

as for the hood, i would get either the mecham or the super hawk. i think those are a couple of the best choices for 98 and ups. the ONLY way i'd get the WS6 hood (and the only reason i got mine) is if there are some type of stripes on them, whether it be blackbyrd, anniversary, or like mine. otherwise i wouldn't get it. i'd even take my original sleek beek over a plain WS6 hood-- i didnt even like how the car looked for the couple hours between the time i picked the car up from the paint shop, till the time i put on the stripes that day.

But i do love the red T/A, and it was actually my inspiration car that i looked at as like my initial goal. it was THE reason i went through with the purchase of my car, and the only reason i bought the splitter from 6LE.

BUT, before you get too stuck on the idea of buying the mecham, you might want to contact them and see how long it'll take. i'm not sure if they were backed up on everything, but i know several people trying to buy the Z29 camaro spoiler were having a lot pf problems getting into contact with him, and never ended up getting it.

just something to think about

Well my ws6 hood just got Blackbird stripes put on it not long ago. The only thing that is swaying my decision is a T/A I found on here with the mecham hood. lol.

+ it'll also end up having 6LE's targo roof.

I like the mecham hood, but there needs to be a lot under the hood to back up the look.

Both are very aggressive looking, so I don't think there's a bad decision here. Also, are the heat vents in the Mecham hood functional?
