Default Powder coat ****

Here is a few of my pieces I picked up a couple minutes ago from the local PC guys up the street. I'll update this with a pic of the elbow & rails mocked up on the intake they will compliment.

I also had a set of stock clam shells done in gloss black. Bought them with red poly mounts installed & wanted them pretty, LOL. I'll have pics of those reassembled with the intake pics.

Stock valve covers/Edlebrock fuel rails/custom sheet metal elbow to clear cowl & use stock TB

Nice! That elbow will flow REALLY well, much better than the Edlebrock design.

Did a dude named Dave coat that stuff by chance? I know a guy in OK from the powder coating forums and I think he's in Tulsa but I could be totally wrong.

Nope, the guy who owns Tulsa Powder coating is named Stash, LOL. Not sure if thats his real name but thats what he goes by. They are on the same street as my work so I figured since these pieces were simple gloss black I'd let them tackle it. He only charged me $60 for all of it since I work up the street & my co worker has had alot of his Harley parts done there too.

I'm hoping this elbow flows great. I'd think so since it came off the 417motorsports twin turbo car.

I have the intake here at work loosly mocked up. Just waiting for a camera to get a pic & I'll post it up for you guys to drool on, LOL.

Are you kidding me??? Im I the only sane one here,,,, its a box?? Theres tones of designs that would flow better then a box?? Do you really think a homemade box will flow better then a engineered piece of technology that was tested and reworked several times as in any aftermarket piece.
Im not saying his design wont work, just I cant see it being better then an Eldebrock peice. Hell if it is then why not sell them or go work for Edlebrock.

No, your just the only one who doesnt know what they are talking about, thats all.

Its been proven that the sheet metal elbows flow better than the cast pieces, period. Do some research on it before making uneducated comments.

This elbow came off a twin turbo car making over 1000hp. It's been proven to work perfectly fine. Trust had a very similar elbow & made over 800hp on his combo. If sheet metal elbows sucked compared to cast pieces they wouldn't be on the market.

This elbow came off my car and worked VERY WELL. with a stock 98 motor, stock 98 heads with only a 224 cam on 9 psi I made 575 rwhp. My new elbow is shorter then this one (l92 intake was taller the ls1) and still works awesome (made 750rwhp on 14lbs).

Elbow looks TONS better man, can't believe i even noticed it was my old one. You can't beat what you have in it either. Good luck with the setup bud.
