Re: How to take off calipers??? There are two bolts on the back side of each caliper. The fitting that they screw into has flat sides so you can hold it with a wrench. Take off the two bolts and lift the caliper off. Cover the rest of the rotor assembly, spindle assembly etc. and I used carboard in the wheel well to protect taht area. Suspend the calper with wire so as to nout put strain on the hose.
Take the pads off - note carefully how the springs are positioned and do one side at time if you feel more comfortable so you can use the other side as a guide in case you get mixed up.
Cover the car with a drop cloth because the overspray travels much further than you think.
