Default To install or not to install... new chrome part..

Well after 6 weeks at the chrome shop i got my chrome ABS bracket.. Since i got impatient and wanted my car back up I had another one powder painted charcoal grey metallic.. its very subtle but I like it..

Now my problem.. should I install the chrome one??? I worry about getting TOO much chrome.. hmmmm Here is how it looks:

plus it dosent help that this bracket is a royal PITA to remove and install.. lol..

Also the Sway bar brackets should be for sale soon since i replace it all with 35mm brackets with zircs..

I got dibs on the sway bar brakets!

As for the chrome ABS thingy - just tacky, way to much chrome, I think you should just throw it into a box, address it to Glendale Heights, IL and be rid of it!

Don't you guys know i AGONIZE over every mod????? lol.. I don't want TOO much chrome.. but i guess its sorta hidden.. keep in mind I currently have a powder painted one on there (matches AC Condensor bracket and it looks pretty good.. I suppose part of it is not wanting to do the R&R.. its a pain!.. but I paid for it so I guess I will put it on

Does that make any sense? Im going for layers (like a parfait?) and textures.. i dont want all chrome (or i would have chromed the FIPK shroud).. it goes on tomorrow..

I sent the pictures of my new engine area to the guy at Super Chevy that shot my car... He wants to re-shoot the engine pics for the magazine on next Tuesday -- It will be nice to put my "best foot forward" so to speak..

So Andy has work calmed down any? See my "new mods" post yet?

Youve got dibs on the Sway brackets.. they actually came out VERY nice

There you go again...

I do understand what your deciding, the bracket and abs unit are very similar, I still think it will look sweet though.

Man you are driving me crazy with your mods, I can't start till December with mine.

A little extra chrome never hurt...

This is a Chevelle from the Super Chevy show that IMO has one of the nicest "over killed chromed" engine compartments, and still looks nice.

GO FOR IT STEVE!!!

In order to decide, I must see them in person. Please ship them to me and I will let you know. I will charge a small decision making fee of a few chrome parts, haha! Seriously though, I say the chrome is always good!
