Steering wheel cover
What do you guys do to repair cracked leather steering wheels? Does anyone make OEM type covers to replace the leather? The spokes seem to large to put one of the universal ones on...

have you tried wheelskins? here's a picture of the closest thing i could find to an fbody - a black skin on a black wheel (ebony? i dunno wtf the color is)
not the best looking thing. i'd recommend a new wheel also.

I replaced the cover on my 96 with a wheelskin cover but instead of overlapping the spokes I cut the cover and spray-glued it on before I laced it, then tucked the ends under themselves at the juncture with the foam. If you look at your wheel you will see what I mean. Not hard at all if you're handy.

whatever u do don't get any steering wheel covers. They just make them look twice as thick and feels like your driving a boat. IMO thats rice, especially the dozens of member on tech who get red/black steering wheel cover pep boys supremes. I'm gonna take my steering wheel and strip the leather off it, exposing the foam cover underneath and have a seamstress sew some alcantara on it.

I agree and I should have been more clear. When I said I replaced mine I meant I removed the factory leather and replaced it with the wheelskins cover, laced on really nice.
