Best Aluminum Polish for Clearcoated Rims
So I just got some polished z06 wheels. I also have a set of polished wheels on my TL1000. So what is the best polish for clearcoated wheels. Everyone seems to love Blingmaster but I think it is only for uncoated aluminum. What have you guys liked?

With the clear coat you treat them like the rest of the paint on your car using rubbing compound and wax. Any good quality wax should be sufficient unless they need a good rubbing out then use compound remember your only polishing the clear coat not the aluminum so like I said treat them like any other painted part.

take a fine aluminum polish and attemp to polish a small area of the wheel. if the polish starts to turn grey and dirty then there is no clearcoat. If it jut keeps getting rubbed around and stays the original color they are cleared

Ive got this stuff called prism polish that i got from my boss. i used it on the rims on my girls bronco (still factory aluminum clear coated wheels) and it cleaned them right up. the boss man gets the stuff from a boating supply place and uses it for his motor home and boat. its some good stuff and may be something to look into
