Problems putting SS 10-spokes on 95 Z28 I just bought some 2001 ss 10 spokes for my 1995 z28 and when i went to put them on in the back, the center hub wouldn't fit through the center of the wheel, so i put it on anyway and tightend it so now the hub barely fit in the hole and its crooked, but the main problem is the wheel wont go on far enough to tighten (the thread doesnt stick out far enough to use the lug nuts to force the wheel on, it strips them) so what do i do? and why doesnt it fit perfect? any help would be great. thnx

Re: Problems putting SS 10-spokes on 95 Z28 Not to be rude but never force any thing on. Check size difference of hub center to wheel center. If it is just rusty junk wire wheel hub center clean if is to great a difference check into having center off wheel opening opened up at machine shop.Check at parts dept somewhere on the difference of hubs-- axles for the different year cars.Good luck.

Re: Problems putting SS 10-spokes on 95 Z28 Just simply file out the inside of the rim where it is getting caught up on the hub. It's nothing to worry about, and you wont see where you filed. The lugs hold the rim in proper position so dont worry about the rims fitment over the axle, just make sure its not binding up. You might have a tough time getting the rim off the car since you jammed it on there though...
