93-97 Halogen headlight conversion?
Hey folks I need new low and high beams for my car and I wanted to switch to the Sylvania Ultra's only to find out they don't make them for my car. I really don want to go to HIDs I've heard too many horror stories of ballast blowing or lights just suddenly stop working. Does anyone make a conversion which allows halogen bulb replacement instead of entire headlight replacement, I'd prefer something plug and play if it's out there, thanks?

Or if you change your mind about the HIDs, Speed Inc. has a kit that includes new housings.

It is really going to matter more which bulbs you get. When I bought my housings for my TA they were a whole hell of a lot brighter. Maybe even too much. I don't know which bulb they use in the housings you need, but mine were H7. Those bulbs can be found easy and in many different watt ratings and colors if that is your thing.

What kit and bulbs did you use?
Also i was looking over the eurolamps kit and the bulbs that come with it are xenon-charged and not H.I.D.
So if anyone has used that kit how is it? How much brighter is it over stock?

Im using McCullouch HIDs. Bought them about 5 years ago, they are now in the 2nd vehicle and still going. There were not near as many companies making them as there are now, they cost A LOT more back then, Now there are far more companies, so you should have plenty of options. 9005 for high beam and 9006 for low beams.

u can turn your stock headlights easy just take the headlight out warm it up with a heat gun twist out the old bulb like u are changing any other headlight. then put a small dab of red silicon on the outer ring of the headlight assembly. then put your new 9006 bulb let it dry for 12 hrs and reinstall. already did mine works great
