i'll agree with you there. the 4th gen trans ams i put higher than all the others, because they actually looked different than the camaros (although some idiots still confuse them). 1st-3rd gen birds just looked like camaros with a few changes here and there.
stock vs. stock, i'd honestly take a 4th gen. Trans Am over a Camaro any day. the body's design is far more pleasing to the eyes in my opinion. But, appearance mod wise, you can do SO much more with a camaro than the T/A. which is why i'm getting rid of both cars to have some fun with another LS1 camaro. you can do more to really make a unique camaro than you can a trans am

in my opinion the 75-81 camaros were pure ugly idk who was in charge of designing those front ends but they dropped the ball. the 74 style t/a fronts werent great either. i think that the 93-02 trans ams will be one of the few post 70s cars that remains a classic and collectable. i couldnt pass up on buying my 97 for 2 grand, i love it

it gets kinda boring though. with camaros there are many options for each aspect of the car: tail lights, headlights, grill, GFX kits, hoods, many stripe styles, etc, etc... apart from rims, hoods, the couple stripe options, and other miscellaneous details, there really aren't many things you can do with the Trans Am's. i've gotten bored with the car already, and i've only had it since august...

It's disgusting looking. Why take a car that is clearly retro'd off a 1st gen, then try to not only make it a different model, but make it look like an entirely different generation?
The best T/A remodel of a 2010 Camaro would be to make it a 1st gen cued design. Obviously not happening, it just confuses me why Lingenfelter went that route.

that 4th into 1st is cool but soo wrong at the same time. yes it may make sense to sell to the Chinese but maybe that should just be exclusive to china and let us have pontiac

And even if Pontiac did stay.. the Firebird was not coming back. The G8 would have continued to be the brands flagship car.
