Default Chrome Wheel Cleaner

Which do you consider the best cleaner and polish for chrome?

I know the rules say nothing to do with wheels here, but I feel cleaning wheels belongs in detailing.

wash the wheels with car wash soap and water dry then wax i let them sit for about 5-10 with wax on then wax off! sometimes it takes more then one time to get them shiny! i forgot to takes pics before i did my CCW's, but i can post the finished pics if you want me too.

If they haven't been cleaned in a while, use Eagle 1 chrome wheel spray cleaner. After that use Eagle 1 Nano chrome polish or a nice synthetic wax like NXT 2.0.

I have seen some good results for Chrome wheels using mild soap (carwash soap) and water and then after drying blingmaster.

Depends how bad they are. With a ton of stubborn brake dust, a good wheel acid and some steel wool will do the trick.

Those are polished wheels.

All that good chrome wheels should need is a washing with soap/water. Unless you have let a bunch of brake dust build up.

Being the winter months my car has sat, maybe being driven 30-40miles in 3months. seeing as it is under a carport the wheels still get hit with water splashing up from the dirt whenever it rains. Being in college and not living in the same location as the car for several weeks at a time makes it rare I have time to clean her. I went to clean them yesterday and ran out of my old cleaner, after the second wheel, which I didn't feel was doing a good job anyways. I want to say it was McGuires(sp). So I was just wondering since now I have to get new stuff anyways. I saw the thread about the blingmasters but was not going to read 13pages to find out what most people were thinking about it. I might order some of it and have it for next time I see my car.

Mine are polished aluminum not chrome, but everything i use would work on chrome as well.
1. Spray down with Pinnacle gel wheel cleaner
2. Agitate with brush and wash with car wash soap(tropicare car wash or whatever they changed their name to)
3. Magic mix metal polish if its need polishing
4. DP wheel wax
