Default what to do ???? (taillight)

my 00 trans am driver side tail light has a bad seal on the reverse light that has ruined the crome on the inside, and it looks like crap, also there is a bad seal on the farthest light on left of the dr side tail light and it is dull looking at night time.its been like this since i bought the car last year. i dont think this is something i can repair if anyone has ideas thanx.if not is there somewhere i can get a new tail light.

you could take it a part get some chrome pint repaint the reverse light and then reseal them both. but it would be a lot less trouble to just getsome used ones

I tried seperating the tail light lens from the housing by heating it up and I couldn't break the seal. I say just buy a used one .

you can get a new set...

or you can seal up everything the best you can, get all new rubber gromets/sealers (the thing between the bulb and the lights) to make sure no water can get in. and buy some BRIGHT *** led's and see how that works out. that would be easier/cheaper than new lights, and may be enough since led's put out a brighter light, that should compensate for the lack of the reflective backing material.

Thats how the passenger side taillight was on my t/a, I opened it, spray painted it chrome, reseal it and it went back on. It did not look perfect, but it would pass for me..... until I got funds to buy a new one...
