they are not xtreme wheels they are zq8 wheels. xtremes do have the zq8 package but has different wheels specific to the xtreme. the first style zq8 wheels are nothing more than 91-92 z28 wheels with different centercaps. he would not need spacers to make it work. spacers are only needed when putting camaro wheels from a 4th gen on a s10 so the backspacing would work on the 4th gens. if you want to know how i know

Those are a look a lot better than if car was riding on 22" or 24" Bling's. It's just a V6 so if that's what the guy could find out of the junk yard of for el cheapo then good for him.

if he got them cheap thats great because in the s10 world those are gold. s10 guys will trade 18" - 20" wheels for them or pay 600 for just used ones in good shape. they are stock but do not come on every s10. only available for 01 to 03 on only s10s with the zq8 suspension package. kind of like ss 10 spokes, they came stock on some cars but are desirable to many. I got lucky i traded my dime a dozen "swirlie wheels" off my s10 for zq8s

the guy works at the junkyard so he got them for free most likely.
they take anything they want. alot of the u-pull-it junkyards are family owned around here. i know of one that started it in there yard...they're house is in the back..the front is like 1000 cars maybe. its legal and everything. still gotta pay $2/each to get inside for insurance purposes supposely.
seen one that had a completely ground fx kit for those older box style chevy 1500 trucks...i know those have to cost like 1500 for the whole kit. i thought about buying it. i love those old 1500. i hate my 95 f150. rather have the 1500 double cab.
