corvette interior door poppers

corvette interior door poppers like on the new c6 where the doors armrest just has the button that opens the door. really thinking about doing this to the byrd. obviously there are some safety concerns as there will be no interior door latch but you still have the outside and im sure you could still have a manual pull on the door somewhere.
what do you guys think and what would be needed. obviusly a door popper and the switch. the armrest would have to be fiberglassed instead of the vynil that is there now. what do you guys think?

i follow. didnt actually realize the c6s had poppers on the inside too, i just knew they didnt have 'handles' on the outside.
id be interested to see this happen; im thinking about fabbing new door switches in but i couldnt decide what to source them from, wouldnt mind stealing your idea if tit works
