Default Aftermarket Seat Brackets (help)

So i grabbed some 6le seats. 100% tired of trying to get them in, between the mounting plate conflicting with the factory brackets (either the bolt location or the curvature itself) and then alignment once in the car, its turned into a complete pain in the *** (and ive done headers on an lt1)

im THIS close to grabbing some corbeau brackets, not even knowing if theyll fit these seats, but i figured id see if anyone had a lead for me.

im pulling out 6 way '00 seats, got the pass side in and its too far (3/4") to the right, and the drivers side the brackets curve up too much to match.

does someone have some insight here?

Ill show some goods to help spur on my troubleshooting.

OUT

IN (for looks)

IN (actually mounted, as stated, not to standard)

Someone help so i can move on to wrapping this craplastic interior

ive seen people put them through the existing holes (on the seat), gonna have to pm steve to see if thats a pain in the neck.. teehee.

other option is to drill the factory brackets into the seats, let em hang, or try somethin new and exciting (no ideas yet. lol)

Give me your address and I'll mail you a free set of seat belt guides...

For the install, did you check out my write-ups?

yep, i read it a couple times. (its actually a tab thats still opened, haha)

The passenger side is actually gonna be fine doing that (after more adjustments), but was your drivers seat fully adjustable? im having compound issues there since the factory sliders are recessed so the factory seats sit lower

EDIT: also mark, if you wanna throw them in with my gauges that works, i think those are going out soonish? (gp ends on the 5th right?)

OK well if they don't work out from ya I might be willing to buy them. Or buy your TA seats.

okay, so heres what im running into with the drivers side...

the bolts push the sliders to the side

and the brackets hit the sliders where the factory seats were raised like 1/2" off the mounts (new seats are flat bottomed)

I'm pretty sure it was in my write up but if not you just just the spacers the seats come with for the part where the seat is flat but the track dips down...

For the weird crooked bolt just wallow out the hole on the slider more so there is enough plate to flatten it out...

UPDATE:

seats are in. I need to finish fitting the plastic pieces on the aftermarket seats, then theyll get wrapped (which is why the boot/wheel button are missing)

its weird, there are turns i take day in and day out in 2nd/3rd that i habitually brace myself for. it feels super unnatural not needing to i think this weekend im doing some foam lumbar support and down the road ill be doing some suede stuff, but theyre sweet.

do you prefer the seatbelt guides to just putting them through the holes? (i havent yet cause i dont wanna pull the panel and cant get the cap off the bolt on the bottom)

Guides hands down. Through the holes is worse than just hanging there...

Wedge engineering brackets? That would make a complete bolt and go package.

That is who I had been recommending people to but their prices went from $100-$125 to like $200 so we just started making our own for production. Should have pics and prices next week.
