Im thinking if they do a "Smokey and the Bandit" remake then this IS the car

You should see her boyfriends WS6

Did you guys have a good drive back to Buellton?

I really like it. Don't worry about everyone else. You try to do something different, and everyone wants to yell 'rice' or something! Nice job!

We had a good drive back Steve, not too much traffic

My car will be at the San Diego show next year so you can see it in person

It looks really good next to Dan's 30th TA too

Overall workmanship looks good and its a nice nod to the heritage of past T/A's.. Dropped with tint and some very aggressive wheels and this would be a real attention getter.. To me it dosent detract for the overall appearance either.. it a T/A for gods sake.. a car that screams for attention.. this would not work at all on a Camaro

Nice to see something DIFFERENT for a change

That has got to be the ugliest paintjob I have ever seen on one of these cars. Just use splatterpaint next time. Might come out better. You paid no attention to the lines and curves on the car it seems. It is especially bad where you painted over the nostrils on the hood.

I love it! Great choice of colors and paint scheme. Looks flawless, excellent job to the painter. It is unique but that is what is so awesome. No one will mistake this for another person's car. Steve is right, I second the smoky and the bandit comment.
My personal opinion, not that your asking . I think you have to do everything in moderation. Salt makes food better but alot will make it unbearable to eat. I think the painted grilles take away from the aggressive hood lines and make you forget its a ramair, I would put them back to black. Since they are removable, why don't you take them out and put your b'f's grilles in. Take some pics and let us rejudge it.
As for the rose red tint, I guess you would have to see it first but once again, moderation. It would defenitely take away from the paint job for sure. You want the bird to be your focus. Black metallic tint, not the regular dull film, is very dark and shines like sunglasses on a cartoon character. Regular Black film is dull where the metallic reflects everything. I'm not talking about the black to chrome tint, just the film itself. It would ad to the sleekness of the lines the WS6 is infamous for. Then, lower it for sure.

Well I understand everyone has their own opinion, but like people who have seen the car stated, The pictures do not do it justice at all. I am still considering my options for future mods and I accept all comments and suggestions, good and bad. Everyone's likes are different and like I said before, I love the car and the paint job and I have to drive it everyday and see it all the time, so that is what matters the most. It is nice however to see what others think about it too

Very neat...

I have no imagination that's why my car is so dang plain.

I'd paint the hood grills black and not continue the design on them.

i give you props for originality but i personally dont care for it too much. as long as you like it though thats fine, its your car and you obviosly(sp?) took a lot of time and effort getting it how you want it. the quality of the paint looks top notch, congrats on a unique ride.

I live 30miles south of Buellton, and saw it at the Avenue of Flags car show they recently had there. I did see it with my own eyes, and it does look SWEEEEEET.

I don't think you could have done better.the car looks like it is going 200 mph sitting still.thats what it's all about, looking good and going fast.super sharp.how much did somthing like that cost.did you have to give up your first born.

LOL, it did not take my first born to get the paint job done
It costs about $3500 at a body shop, I had someone I know do it for about half that. The paint alone was $550.00 per quart.
When I was looking to buy a Trans Am I wanted something I could put a bird onto but I fell in love with the WS-6 when I first saw my boyfriends car (before he was my boyfriend). I have always wanted the "Bandits" car so I asked another friend to design a bird that would fit on the hood. This is what he came up with. I was able to get my dream car exactly as I wanted it. A futuristic "Bandit" car
I know people are not going to like it, but the majority has, so I am not worried about the few who dont

i think it looks great... i love the way the wings of the bird extend towards the driver and passenger doors... looks very very neat...

i also agree with the grill covers... paint them black again and it would look really mean.

Sorry, but I dont like it at all. Gm did an absolutely awesome job of designing the WS6 and this just seems to take you away from all the nice lines. They also did away with the large hood bird for a good reason. It's been done to death already.

But each to there own and I can respect that!

4mulajoe, you could at least have the decency to not be so mean and ugly, it's not your car, you don't have to live with it, so let it be. I mean, if this had been you posting the pic and I didn't like it, I surely wouldn't sit there and tell you it was the ugliest thing I had ever seen, I would just keep my mouth shut and not say a word. I am by no means trying to be mean to you or lecture you, I just can't stand someone being mean to others.

The only problem with painting the grill covers black is that they are part of the bird, it would cut out some of the bird itself and I feel that would look awkward and funny, sorry but the grills are staying the way the are. Besides I like them painted
