Not something I would ever stick on my car. You see camaros with a lot of different hoods, spoilers, bumpers, and more... but do you ever see different parts on a trans am? No, because you can't make a trans am look any better than what it already is. JMO.

PS, I love camaros too. Wasn't putting you guys down.

 

well, IMO, the only thing that looks better on a TA is the MECHAM hood.

 

I'd jump on a heritage quickly (price dependant of course) considering I can't seem to locate an slp (style) iroc...hint hint, both ways.

 

Raleigh already knows how I feel about his fenders as well...another bug dropped :o

 

I don't think it's because Trans Ams look as good as they can possibly get (although there's plenty that think that). There just never seemed to be a lot of aftermarket exterior parts for Firebirds/Trans Ams in general. There aren't many hood options available - most of the ones that are are just variations of the WS6 hood. Spoilers? Unless you wanted the ultra-ricey Wings West T/A spoiler, or their lip spoiler for Firebirds, you're stuck with the stock stuff unless you happen to find an SLP spoiler. Good luck with that.

It would be nice to see some more options for Firebird/Trans Am owners.

^^^Part of the problem is it is hard to improve on them and the other part is that it is hard to improve on them

Part 1 because they do look good already...

Part 2 because the way the factory designed them (spoiler for instance) it is hard to make something to fit the stock area but somehow look BETTER than stock...

 

You need a T/A to hang around you and Mcnords shop for about a month (not mine, I live in Tejas..lol) for inspiration. As much as I love my sparrow wing, that heritage is tough to beat (oh I can only imagine an original 2 toned trans am decal stretched across the back already)...and is definately different. Of course if there's any different variances' on the iroc style (liscencing purposes) that can be done, I think you'd have a couple of top sellers.

How about a conversion kit like the pollocks did on their factory T/A wing?

 

I think a spoiler for the 4th gen would look good if it was split like the 3rd gen Formulas came with. Does anybody even make one like it?
