You will need whatever is factory for the camaros. I think it is 9007? You will have to check into that.. Just search some of the HID threads (or if you know what it is already) and then order that number.

Brights would be just ridiculous. If you absolutely wanted them though you could. Warm up is around 3-5 seconds.

I kept my stock halogen highbeams and wired up 55W bixenon fx-r projectors. When I hit my highs, I have my 55W fogs, 55W projectors with shield dropped, and my halogen highs. Suffice it to say it's bright as ****!

edit... just noticed you have a t/a. My friend retrofitted hella 90mm projectors on his t/a and they look amazing. I'm not aware of a bixenon that would fit the t/a's (for a reasonable price) but who knows... there might be one out there

I'm not sure I haven't heard of this. I got some fx-r projectors from theretrofitsource.com and retrofitted them into my stock housings. the light output is incredible and there is a lot of color change at the cutoff. It was pretty time consuming but very easy to do overall.

will do. we're retrofitting fx-r's onto his 06 mustang this weekend... I'll see if I can snap a few of his t/a. The shrouds are off, but you'll still get a good idea as to how they fit.

factory the camaro takes a 9006 low beam, 9005 high beam, and 894 foglight which is the exact same as the 880 foglight
putting a hid kit into a stock camaro headlight greatly increases the light output, but its only in the immediate area right infront of the vehicle. the projector headlights spread out that light beam much more effectively to illuminate the sides of the road.
alot of people like to argue that projectors arent as bright to passing motorist, but i have been blinded by so many civics with ebay projectors, and acura rl's with projectors that i dont think it makes a difference. with either option you should spend five minutes aiming the light level on a wall or your garage.
like someone else mentioned ealier installing a kit is as easy as installing a new light bulb. just be sure you hook the headlight harness up to the ballast backwards
i have an 8k hid kit. even with the dark blue color i still saw about a 50% improvement in light output at night over silverstar ultra's. the best thing about HID is that on average the bulbs last 3-5 years, where as silverstars last about 10 months
