polishing

i got a dremil tool for x-mas and it came with some compound that relly dosent work to well ive tried a few others but wat should i use for polish the tool is small so is there a wat to do things by hand id like to start polshing things for the winter thanks

Polish or compound? You can get Mothers or Blue Magic, or the like at Pep Boys. I use both, mainly mothers on nice billet pieces. Blue Magic works great on large areas, because it's cheaper.

That's for the final polish, when the piece is finished how you want, and its ready to bolt up. For the initial buffing of the piece, "white rouge" is commonly used. Check out eastwood, it's a link on the right. They have buffing wheels, stands, compounds, etc. when your ready to get serious. Good luck buddy,
