Default Center Console Lid

I'm looking at buying a 1997-02 Center Console, the button on the Lid is broken, anyone have this problem?

I figure it just screws apart and you can just replace the button, it appears that part of it is broken off.

Is it this easy or do I need a new Lid?

You can just unscrew the plastic underside of the lid, and the button is just sitting there, very simple

Yep.

Mine on the trans am is broke but no junkyards around here have them, as it is a common broken part apparently

Wow man as long as you have been around I was suprised to see you hadn't taken one of these apart before now. That's one of the first things that goes on these cars. Guess that's what you get when you put cheap plastic under our arms - LOL.

You're lucky if that is the first thing that goes.

My button is still good. So is my dash pad, even. Just everything else went
