Watts link, LT1, polished aluminum, red powder-coat, pics
I have been sitting on this Watts link from (Strano) and (Fays 2) since last summer. I have taken my sweet time about getting all the aluminum pieces, including the propellor polished to perfection ! I'm going to start doing the install in a couple of weeks and then take the car out and put this suspension component through some spirited driving I decided to take some pics of the unit assembled for your enjoyment. It's almost to nice to hide under the car. When I do the install I will make sure to post finished pics and give a review on my impressions. It seems there is very little info on this item, even less info of it installed on a LT1 car.
Here you go, enjoy :

That watts link looks hella clean! I'm sure you'll love it! Don't worry about hiding it under your car. I saw a 98-02 Camaro out one night and I noticed the watts under her! I had to roll up next to him and talk to him about it, come to find out he was a LS1Tech member!
Be sure to keep us updated when you install it!

Thanks for all the compliments guys!
I just hope it performs as well as it looks Everything I have read seems to indicate that it will outperform factory setup by a noticeable margin. I especially like the fact that the rear-end is suppose to track much better with the watts link. I'm am a little curious as to how this will help if any on launching at the drag strip. Wondering if the car will track any straighter on a hard launch. I know this part is not made for that reason, but I'm still curious to see if their is a side benefit on top of the normal benefits to a watts link (to correct rear geometry).

It looks GREAT!!! I am so thinking about doing one too...but I need to put the money in other places (Watts link + chroming it aint cheap...especially being I already have a chromed BMR upper and lower like you do.) Damn I am tempted though....
BTW where is your exhaust????

SRZ,
Call Sam Strano, he can hook you up...
EsCrasston,
Thanks for a great compliment !
97 Ram SST,
I did not have exhaust on the car because I was doing the final polish on the whole CORSA exhaust system from the I-pipe to the tails
FYI: I don't think you want to chrome the propellor or maybe even the hexagon rods. I think there is going to be a lot of stress placed on the propellor and I think the chrome will eventually crack? This is why I chose to do a very good polish on the pieces (JMO). I can't wait to try this thing out on a particular road that has a substantial elevation change and a pair of switchbacks that you can haul azz through (plus the section of road is pristine).

96silverram....can I ask you a question!!! I'm making a Watts link and all I have to go from was pictures. You Alum Hex rods how long are they?? and your middle swivel how long is that also??
That would be a great help...although I already made the rods I want to see how close I am..
Your polished parts look Great!!
Thanks in advance

Blertawho,
What up man, have not seen or heard from you in a long time. I miss the TFCC days I was trying to keep it on the down low, but as you can see
Bill (OLD BLUE),
I will try to accomadate you when I pull the parts back out of the box. I just assembled the unit to make sure there were no problems with any of the modified hardware. I will be installing it in a couple of weeks and should be able to provide you with measurements. Just PM me as a reminder and thanks for the compliments !
