Default Headlight restoration (pics)

I get a lot of PMs about this, so I figured it was time to post up what I can do for headlights. Both my Camaro and the Civic needed it done but since the Civic is my daily, figured I'd do it first.

Process was wetsanded 1500, 2000, 2500, compound, and then polish.

What I started with

After wetsanding (part of tape peeled off AFTER)

FINISHED!

I have not found a use for this stuff where it did not work phenomenally. I need to get some of the 205 and see how that works too.

Nice work. I need to grab a PC7424 and supplies. My dad's honda accord headlights are as bad, if not worse, than the ones you did. Thanks for the thread

I believe he used a Rotary for these headlights, a PC will also work, but may need more time.

Did this on mine, I hate those plastic stubs on the camaros headlights that you have to go around PITA but worth it!

Um i'm not understanding what you are asking... I don't recommend every polish out there. There are lots of different ones that work and don't work. Megs 105 and 205 are the easiest for this though.

Yes, rotary is the best tool for the job, but requires some experience.
