Shaved/Filled smooth look I am going to have the front of my car re-painted and was throwing around the idea of having the bird on the front shaved off and also the "pontiac" on the headlight. And then have the edges of the front frame plate blended into the bumper, as if was never even there. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> Is it even possible to shave the bird off the front being that it is made of some sort of rubber/plastic? Also remove all the blue stickers from the car and cut some clear side markers. Maybe paint the side/hood grills silver like tullis. I like the way it looks in photoshop. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Re: Shaved/Filled smooth look I think shaving the front license plate area is a bad idea. To me it looks way too close to being an LT1. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> Just my opinion.

but a word of warning. Having it molded in can be a problem. if you hit anything at even 5mph the molding will most probably (90%) come off. I was considering having my body kit molded to my car, but the body shop guy told me that molding isnt a good idea because of waht can happen from minor run-ins with objects.

I took the Borla muffler and tips off after the wreck and never put them back on. Sounds too good but hate the empty space.
I want to put something like black abs molded vents in place of the holes. Two or three slotted, flush with the bottom of the bumper and inset just a little bit. I'm thinking of doing duals also. Either the vents or dummy tips like someone else posted.

Try it on a different pic that is a little bit further away.... or one of those pics that you have of the car at an angle(same background). I can't make a honest opinion quiet yet. The front of the car looks good but when ya look at the whole car its kinda weird looking...... I think its the dropped deal(im not much on the drops)

Re: Shaved/Filled smooth look Nice in theory but that is too large of an area to "shave" by filling it in. A real hot rodder/customizer would probably mold new bumpers to accomplish that.

IMO, the front facia is too bare without the bird (or something/anything). It is a definite focal point and should be highlighted in some way.
As for the rear, isn't it illegal to drive without a center brake light?

I like the darker lower valance.. filling the exhaust cut-outs would be a major job but all it takes is $$$$ <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: Shaved/Filled smooth look jsears8... to be honest.... i like the first set of pics you did w/o the bird then do like steve said and get one airbrused or have it like they do ghost flames.... sometimes you see it...sometimes you dont. in the back valace do some kind of vent idea like what was talked about.
