Heres mine. It was Silver Metal before, But when I bought the car I took it off, Rattle Canned Primered it, Sprayed High Gloss Black, and then 2 Coats of Clear on it and it too me looks alot better.

Digging this up from the dead...it's been a long time and 2 camaros later I am back in the same boat. The first pic was my last SS. I went with the black billet grille and SS emblems. The second picture is a Z28 I picked up the other day. I'll be picking up a black billet grille also. I am not sure if I am going to put an emblem on it or not....

Gotta love seeing your old posts from years back. Been a long 6 years. Guess I didn't appreciate different options as much as I do now, though I'm still more of a fan of the alp grill. But a billet grill and nice emblem combo can look great when done right

Yeah it's pretty cool, especially when you do a google search and find your old posts! I settled with a black billet grille and gold bowtie from a cobalt. It's hanging in there, but nothing really to secure it to the grille, other than 3M tape.

I recently modified mine... used one of the new "glowtie" emblems. Sadly it cost more than the junkyard motor that powers the car. In action below.

That looks awesome. How hard was the install? Is it necessary to remove the area behind the grill?
