Fog can be fine condensation from water somewhere in the car. When it gets hot the water may evaporate causing fog. I'm not sure about the film though, that's weird. You might yank up your pass side carpet and see if its wet could be a sign your heater core is bad.
I'll do this, if I do find it's wet what is the next step? Is the heater core hard to replace or maybe just a hose gone bad?
it's not water, the "fog" only goes away when i wipe it down (hard) with some windex. it's some kind of film
I know exactly what you're talking about, it's definitely not fog (from water) I get it all the time. Usually i use armor all cleaning wipes but that's not the problem cuz I saw the "film" before i started using them. It's a pita to get to the front part of the windshield. Is your "film" oily? I'll check tomorrow to see if mine's back. I'd also like to figure out how to stop this... it's really annoying. By the way my interior panels are totally stock.
Maybe one of you detail or glass guys know what this is...
i have the same problem, everry time i step on the gas it gets worse, it fogs up so bad that i cant see trew the windsheid....its got to be the heater core...
