i bought a 6000k 55w kit from DDM, and mine has no blue except when they're heating up
they're more like a cool white, really pretty. DDM says the 55w washes a lil bit of color out, hence there being no visible blue in mine...

looks hella good (ha ha), what are the dimensions of the light housings on the LS1's? I assume they wouldn't fit on an LT1 car?

Less than 4x6 in both dimensions. The projector itself could be used in the LT1 Birds (much more room) but the rest of the setup won't. To do it right, a proper bixenon projector should be used. I've done this on my own personal car in similar fashion to the 98+ BLS kit. I'm working on the LT1 setup as we speak and it's looking really good so far.

I've been fighting with the alignment thing the whole time. I figured a very simple way (costs about $3) to get the full alignment out of mine.

Check the main BLS GRP thread at the end of it.

Hey definitely look good. You got the 6000K lights right? Because my 5000K don't look that blue at all. They are a very slight hint of blue but mainly white. I might have gone for the 4000K just to get a really nice white out of them, but I'm really happy since I got it all figured out.

I agree with you, I'm no crazy with how close the wires "bend" out of the back of the HIDs, but there's really no option around it besides physically cutting out space for them... which I'm not gonna do. I'll gladly replace the bulbs a few times before cutting.
