Default My BLS HID Install

Here are some pics from my install. overall it went pretty smooth. I received my Hid kit yesterday after work and had It finished up Before nine. A couple things Im not to crazy about but I think overall i am happy. I pulled the fuse box out of the holder and mounted the relay towards the bottom of the box so it was not seen. I installed the ground on the shock tower with another stock ground for now until I do the wire mod. I took the pos and put it on the aux bat post but bent the eyelet into a 90 so it would blend in better.

Anyways here are the pics I took.

I tied this in a bundle and tucked it under the fuse box in case i needed to get to the fuse for any reason.

They look great coming down the road. Im not to crazy with how the alignment process went. I got them aligned properly but i not real crazy with how i had to adjust to get them there. I also have to put in my hella optilux angle eye fogs yet, Im still considering getting a xenon charged halogen bulb to better match these 6000K hid's

Pics look great!! I like seeing the kit on different color cars.

Regarding your alignment comments, please feel free to contact me if you run into issues. I may be able to save you some headache. Glad they are aligned. Have you taken it on the road yet?

I want them real bad, I'm gonna buy them for sure this summer once I have the money from my paid internship. I just paid for airfare going to Cali and Europe, so I'm kind of in a money pit right now =[

I really like them installed. Im just not to happy with how the wires bend from the Hid bulb down to the ballast when the head lights are down. There doesn't seem another way to rout them other then out of that back hole in the bucket. I did drive it down the road they are real nice. They really catch your eye when your driving at the car cause I made my friend drive my car and i drove his passed each other to make sure they didn't blind people. They dont so much blind traffic as much as catch your eye and kinda draw you into looking at them hahaha.

But as far as the adjustments go it seems like physically grabbing the whole housing and moving them to over come that spring at the bottom did more then the adjustment screws. From what I can tell the projector housing is so large it hits the doors on my headlights as well as some other things back there. I mean dont get me wrong the adjust screws would move the beam an inch or two in either direction but i could grab the housing and move the beam pattern by about 4" or 5" due to it hitting/rubbing on the headlight bracket/cover door.

Awesome. That'll be identical to my car in the future when I get the BLS kit. I have 5000k 35w in Eurolamp conversion housings right now.. Projectors definitely cover light on the ground a whole lot more

HIDs tend to "burn-in" after a short time. They will get whiter after probably 10-20 hours of use.

I'm glad I found this thread. I've been debating about the 500K vs 600K thing and this helped make up my mind.

Looks great and I went with the 4300 or 4700 (whatever is the lowest) because I didn't want blue. For some reason blue light bothers me a lot, so I wanted a really white to a little bit yellow light and am extremely happy.

I just recently picked up one of the DDM Tuning kits for my fogs and got 6,000K.. I should have gone with 5,000K - too blue for me.. Oh well.. I'll snag a set of bulbs eventually..

Ya its more blue then i really wanted but hey it is what it is. Im going to rock this for a while. Also an update I just want every one to know that Brian @ BLS stands behind his product. I was having a couple small issues and he is stepping up to take care of me!! I really appreciate it and it says a lot about his business practices. So everyone that is either still waiting or in on the next group buy, rest assured you are buying from a GREAT Vendor!
